Junior
High? Those were some very awkward years. And over all I can’t seem to remember
any really humiliating moments. There were a few times when I accidentally got
hit with a ball or ran into a pole because I was looking at some guy. But
because those sorts of things happened to everyone I was never really too embarrassed
by them.
I did run
into an open locker once slightly but I don’t really think anyone noticed. And
in 6th grade I had a leak during my period a few times. Even still I
remember the really embarrassing things happening to other kids. Girls constantly
were falling down stairs. And I knew a girl once who really humiliated a 6th
grader. She took a red marker and drew all over a pad then stuck it to his backpack.
Everyone in the hallways laughed at him. I felt seriously bad for that kid.
I recall
one time trying to get out of a picnic table during lunch and my jacket got
caught and I fell over. Not too many people even notice it though. And I
thought it was really funny too.
Most of my
Junior High years have been blocked out though. Over the past two years since I
haven’t been going to school I’ve forgotten more and more of the people and the
things that happened. And that is probably a good thing. lolol

I was trying to remember some humiliation or another from my own Junior High years. I know it was an eternity ago, that happens when you are as old as dirt, but I really had a hard time coming up with anything.
Time heals all wounds and embarrassments? Or is it a family trait that we don’t get embarrassed easily?

I think my biggest humiliation was when our “friends” threw Calleen a surprise birthday party in 8th grade and didn’t invite me. The funny part is Calleen is my best friend (although she wasn’t then) and neither of us have anything to do with the other people.
That way more than 10 years ago! Wow!
